I want to change the film

The back of the case must be removed by taking out the 4 screws. The DVD player is on the bottom left (see photo above). Open the lid and press the button to remove the DVD. The lid should be shut afterwards. There may be some problems with DVDs not autoplaying. In this case the software will need to be updated.

Sound is on but no picture

The monitor may have got switched to a different mode. Take the back panel off and get someone to pedal until the sound comes on. Locate the monitor control buttons (pictured below) and press the second to bottom button to cycle through the modes.

If I stop pedalling the system turns off straight away

The battery may be discharged (because of long time in storage), or because of usage patterns not matching the software. To charge the battery, remove from the box and use a lead acid battery charger that supplies not more than 400mA. When changing the battery, polarity must be observed! The red terminal is positive.

If the battery cannot be recharged, then replace with a 12V 2.3AH Yuasa battery. This should last 2 years. Though because of the way the system operates it may last longer.

I pedal and nothing happens

The fuse may be blown. If the battery fails or there is too much power input, the fuse will blow. It should be replaced with a 3A quick blow fuse (2 spares in the box).
